About Our Namesake
Abdullah G. Khan
The A G Khan Foundation is named after Abdullah G. Khan, who was born in Pakistani in 1904. Abdullah G. Khan emigrated to America at a young age and lived in Sacramento, CA, with his wife and children. As a businessman, he ran a hotel for a number of years.
Abdullah G. Khan was buried in his ancestral village of Barazai, Pakistan, in 1975. The A G Khan Foundation was created in his memory to honor the lasting impact he made in the lives of his family and community.
